Community Service

Service-Learning - The National Youth Leadership Council says that “service-learning actively engages participants in meaningful and personally relevant service activities.” Each RLOA student is required to complete at least 20 hours each year of community service. Teachers will help students find problems within their communities to help solve.

  1. October - Clean Up Day
  2. Plastic Bag - fund raising drive
  3. November Clean Up Day
  4. Canned Goods for Charity Drive
  5. December - June Activities:

Hi!  Students will receive community service hours for the items that they bring in for the charity drive, so please keep track of how many of each item that they bring in.
