Jump Rope For Heart Event Day 1

Friday, February 21st, Royal Live Oaks Academy hosted its first Jump Rope For Heart Event Day. Students in grades K-4 participated in heart healthy activities such as hula hoops, tug of war, relay races, soccer and jump roping. The event was a complete success and will be repeated on Friday, February 28th for grades 5-9.

The event day comes towards the end of our Jump Rope For Heart fundraiser. Donations are being collected through Wednesday, February 26th. Students may bring in money using the envelopes that were sent home with them, or even create a personal fundraising website by clicking here. There are many great prizes that students can earn for raising money, starting with the first $5 donation.

Jump Rope For Heart is sponsored by the American Heart Association and all funds earned will go to benefit heart disease prevention and research. While the fundraiser is to raise money for the Heart Association, the more money we make, the more we get back for our P.E. program for equipment.
